Volunteer Online Certification
Meet volunteers must complete an online certification test before they can officiate a meet. These tests only need to be completed once at the beginning of the season (not for every meet). A certification test must be completed for each position that a volunteer will fill. Each parent is expected to complete the Records & Ribbons, Runner, and Timer tests.
These tests are very quick, and no prior experience or knowledge is necessary. If you do not pass the test, you can immediately take it again until you pass. No stress. Once you pass, your name will be listed as a certified official. Please be sure to select CB as your team.

- Records & Ribbons
- Runner
- Timer
- Head Timer
- Clerk of Course Head * (not assistants)
- Coaches *
- Stroke & Turn Judge *
- Starter *
- Referee *
* These positions also require a classroom training session.
